Apple Paste

Aseptic apple paste is prepared from New Zealand's finest ripe apples.The fruit is washed, pulped and finished to remove skins, stalks, pips before being vaporated under vacuum at less than 80°C. It is then sterilised and packed into aseptic bags.

The apple paste is a pale green to golden colour, typical of the variety used. It has a sweet sharp apple taste, is viscous but with a smooth texture.

Processing takes place during April to June


Sauces, beverages, pie fillings, fruit leathers, suitable for further processing into high quality food products.
