Cedenco Foods held our annual growers meeting for 2013 this week, with growers from Gisborne, Wairoa and Tolaga Bay in attendance.
Grower's producing the best yielding crop or highest gross return per hectare within their districts were honored for their outstanding efforts and were presented with their awards.
In addition to the annual awards for best crop for 2013, Cedenco introduced a new exclusive club, the “Cedenco 30 Tonne Club” for growers achieving the excellent milestone of 30 metric tonne per hectare of sweet corn harvested from one paddock. Growers who have achieved this yield in the last 3 year were presented with their awards and their names added to an honors board.
