2014 Kiwi Fruit Processing Has Begun

The staff at Cedenco are currently busy processing kiwifruit, which started in June and is expected to finish in July.

“Great growing conditions this season have produced good-tasting fruit with a larger size profile than last year, and volumes are increasing around three- to four-fold for the new gold cultivar SunGold/Gold3, with strong demand from customers,” Mr Jager of Zespri said.

In 2014 Cedenco will produce, Kiwifruit purees and pastes, IQF (frozen) kiwifruit. We will process both standard green (Hayward) and Zepsri Sungold (G3) varieties.
